The Road to Oklahoma (movie)

🎬 The Road to Oklahoma

A Stellar Films Motion Pictures Documentary

"🎣 "The first-ever feature-length documentary to follow high school anglers on their journey to the national stage."

📝 About the Film

Twelve students. Six teams. One unforgettable journey.
The Road to Oklahoma is a heartfelt documentary that follows the Jackson High School Fishing Team as they travel from the small town of Jackson, Ohio to compete on a national stage in Oklahoma. This film captures their dreams, struggles, teamwork, and personal growth — both on and off the water.

📍 Why It Matters

This isn’t just a film about fishing.
It’s about hope, purpose, small-town pride, and chasing dreams when the odds are high and resources are few. The Road to Oklahoma shows what happens when a community comes together to support their youth.

The Stories

This film will have a full release, blooper exclusive release, and individual interview release overtime.

Preserving a memory

The Road to Oklahoma isn’t just a documentary — it’s a time capsule.

We wanted to give these twelve students more than a trip or a trophy. We wanted to give them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — the chance to be part of a professionally produced feature film that documents their hard work, their bond, and their dreams.

This is the first feature film ever made about Jackson High School — and these students are at the heart of it. Their stories, their efforts, and their personalities will now live on forever in a way that can inspire future generations.

Whether they go on to fish competitively, pursue college, join the workforce, or blaze a new trail entirely — this film becomes part of their resume, their legacy, and their voice.

For those pursuing careers in competitive fishing, this documentary may help open doors — from future sponsorships to professional exposure. And for every student involved, it’s a celebration of what they’ve already accomplished.

At its core, this film is also a love letter to Jackson High School — shining a light on the amazing students who represent it, and showing the world what’s possible when a small town rallies around big dreams.
