Who We Are
The Mid Ohio Valley Film Commission
Founded by Erin O’Neill (co‑founder and Director of Strategy & Community Engagement) and Andy Hall, MOV Film was created to champion southeastern Ohio—including Marietta, Washington County, and neighboring communities—as a competitive destination for film and media production.
Drawing from Erin O’Neill’s experience as a Marietta City Council member and higher-education leader, the commission addresses a longstanding gap in regional infrastructure and resources—helping filmmakers navigate permitting, location scouting, and forging local film partnerships. Officially launching its first Board of Directors meeting in mid‑July 2025, MOV Film brings together creatives, educators, business owners, and local officials to advocate for film projects that advance economic development, tourism, workforce training, and storytelling grounded in the region’s history and natural beauty. As proud partners of Stellar Films, we are honored to work alongside MOV Film to unlock the artistic potential of rural Ohio—helping independent productions bring the Appalachian heartland to film audiences everywhere while also exploring various sponsorship opportunities to support our initiatives.
GlowCraft SMP
GlowCraft is an innovative Minecraft SMP (Survival Multiplayer) network dedicated to immersive, community-driven gameplay and custom world-building experiences.
