About Stellar Films
Our Mission
Stellar Films Motion Pictures is an independent film production company based in Southern Ohio (McArthur Ohio), dedicated to capturing powerful, meaningful stories through cinematic filmmaking. Specializing in documentaries, narrative features, and live broadcast events, Stellar Films merges creative vision with technical excellence to produce content that resonates with audiences worldwide.
With a passionate commitment to community-driven storytelling, the company focuses on highlighting the rich culture, history, and voices of the Appalachian region—while also exploring bold, original concepts that push creative boundaries. From intimate biopics to large-scale cinematic documentaries, Stellar Films handles every aspect of production in-house, including scripting, filming, editing, and distribution.
Our projects have been distributed across major streaming platforms including Amazon Prime Video, with others in the pipeline for services such as Hulu, Roku, and Apple TV. Stellar Films has collaborated with organizations, educational institutions, and local governments to bring visibility and recognition to unique stories that deserve to be told.
At our core, we believe in using film as a powerful tool for impact, connection, and legacy—empowering both our subjects and our audiences through the art of motion pictures.
